Local jeweller Charlotte Hetzel has a busy home studio, open for the first time to the public during the 2025 Art Trail. Her work is handmade and everything is unique. As well as selling at events and fairs she makes bespoke items to commission.

“I create jewellery that is bold in design yet simple and well-made enough for everyday wear.  I use recycled silver, brass, copper and the odd bit of gold and incorporate gemstones, glass, crystal, wood and resin for colour, sparkle and texture.

With a science/maths background, I’m inspired by both organic and geometric shapes, taking textures from leaves or, rocks. I love to engineer movement into my designs.  

I work with clients to design a one-off piece that truly reflects their style, personality AND makes a statement! “
